Dealer 21c Telecom has won a three-year contract for the provision of a fully converged communications offering to a large national restaurant chain.

21c Telecom will provide 500 fixed lines, non-geographical inbound number provision, IP PBX installation and ethernet installation at the head offices of the 50-strong chain. It will offer full support and management of IT and telecoms services across the estate, BlackBerry software installation, routers with 3G mobile broadband backup for each site and mobile account management and transfer.

21c Telecom refused to name the business as the contract is being finalised.

It is working with Gamma Telecom, Griffin Internet, Yes Telecom and IT partners Union Street and Foehn on the project.

21c Telecom managing director Richard Hunt said: "This was won despite fierce competition from rival networks and solutions companies.
