| Postal strikes | 29th October 2009 |
| 21C are working hard to minimize the effects of the current postal strikes on our customers. With a possible escalation of industrial action we have arrangements in place to deliver phones by courier where urgently needed. It is also possible that members of our sales team may be travelling in your area and can drop-off new handsets or accessories. Most items sent from our offices can be tracked online so you can see the status of your delivery if you are waiting for it.

| Apple iPhone coming to Orange soon? | 27th October 2009 |
| The latest rumoured release date for the iPhone on the Orange network is 10th November. This is the day after O2's exclusive deal with Apple expires. No details of Orange tariffs have been made public but you can pre-register on the Orange website if you are a consumer. For business mobile users please contact us.

| Microsoft have unveiled their latest mobile phone operating system Windows Mobile 6.5. This replaces the 6.1 version. Current SmartPhone users of 6.1 can upgrade to 6.5 which offers better integration between the work PC, home PC and mobile phone. The Windows mobile phone operating system is a good all-rounder and sound choice for business mobile users.

| The first wind-up mobile phone could be in the shops soon. Developed by TCL, the company that produces the famous Trevor Bayliss designed wind-up radios and torches, the phone requires one minutes winding to produce four minutes of talk time. Expected to sell well in developing countries where electricity is not so reliable, the phone can stay on stadby indefinitely via solar panels on the back.
