| Vodafone sign up for the iPhone | 29th September 2009 |
| Following on from yesterday's news that Orange will start selling the iPhone once O2's two year exclusive deal expires, now Vodafone have stepped in to sign up too. With the three largest networks competing to sell the iPhone it looks likely that a price war will follow. However Vodafone's agreement allows them to start selling iPhones from the beginning of next year so greatly reduced prices in the run up to Christmas look unlikely.

| Orange look set for the iPhone | 28th September 2009 |
| It looks likely that Orange will be selling the iPhone in the near future. A deal is likely to be announced this week. Currently Apple are selling the iPhone exclusively on O2 in the UK but need to expand its reach to boost sales still further. A deal with Orange, followed by the Orange merger with T-Mobile UK, would make its phone available on the two largest UK networks in the run up to Christmas.

| T-mobile UK and Orange set to merge | 8th September 2009 |
| After weeks of speculation the fate of T-Mobile UK looks to lie in a merger with Orange. Bids from Vodafone and O2 have reportedly been rejected in favour of a deal with Orange which would create a mobile phone giant with nearly 40% of the UK market. Subject to regulatory approval, the deal should be signed in November. Both brands will remain trading in their own names (at least in the short term) so existing customers should be unaffected.
