| A recent investigation by Which? found that many companies are still using premium rate telephone lines for their broadband helplines. These 090 numbers can cost upwards of £5 for a ten minute call. At least a minute of this is likely to be navigating your way through an automated menu before you can even speak to a real person. The report found that waiting times average between 1.5 and 8 minutes, depending on the company involved. A third of broadband users stated that they were unhappy with the technical support. At 21c Telecom we do things differently. As an ISP ourselves we have a technical support department in-house. Calls to us are at local rates and our aim is to answer the call within 3 rings.
