Leicester Race Day 2009

On Tuesday 13th October 2009 21C, BlackBerry, Romex and YES Telecom hosted a business seminar and race day at Leicester race course. The event attracted over 40 staff, presenters and 21C customers. Richard Hunt, the 21C Managing Director, described the product presentations by Welly Sams of Blackberry and Jason Laight (MD) of Romex as "both powerful and informative".

Following the seminar the guests enjoyed the excellent hospitality of David Maykels, General Manager, and his team of staff.

The sun shone brightly on the 3.10, "The Blackberry Solutions From 21C Telecom Conditions Stakes" The prize for the best turned out horse was presented by Alison Clark, Partner in AA Mortgages of Syston, to the "lad" of Rosie's Magic. Alison was 21C most recent customer at the event.

The prize to the winning owner of Hafawa was presented by Mr and Mrs Richard Barski of Gas Container Services Limited. Mr Barski, Managing Director was the longest standing 21C customer at the event.

A great day of business and racing was had by guests. 21C and its partners present were proud to have hosted such a successful event.

Richard Hunt extended a special thank you to all the partners present and the staff of Leicester race course.

Joe and myself had a great day yesterday as I am sure everyone did. Pity we had no winners if we get a chance again then I will have to ask the experts for tips. Somebody told me Richard is the person in the know?

The presentation by Blackberry and Romex was excellent and has me thinking about our business moving forward. The option of a totally integrated system for phone, e-mail, tracker, web surfing etc is an excellent prospect for our business.

As you know we use Navman trackers in 9 of our vans at the moment and I will have to check the time remaining of the lease on these. Even so if we don't do anything now we will certainly consider in the future.

Can you thank Richard for his hospitality yesterday it was much appreciated. I am a firm believer in that business is all about relationships and having confidence in the people who you work with.

I just wanted to write to thank you all for a most enjoyable day at the 21C Telecom / BlackBerry / Yes Telecom Seminar and Race Day on Tuesday 13 October at Leicester Racecourse.

Not only was the event fantastically well organised from start to finish, but the content of the presentations were very interesting and relevant to everyone present – including myself who only has a small business.

21C have provided solutions for my personal and business communications needs for a number of years and these events help me to keep abreast of developments and underline 21C’s relevance in the marketplace.
